Victoria Park is a reserved forest range in the heat of Bhavnagar city. This park is one of the oldest man made forest in India and thus its maintenance is prioritized by the Indian government. The government has taken the entire responsibility to maintain this beautiful park in Bhavnagar. Victoria Park is spread across a sprawling 500 acres of land which is filled with rare species of flora and fauna. The park is also connected to Gaurishankar lake and the lake view from the park is spectacular and this spot is highly popular among the tourists. That is the only metropolis in the state of Gujarat, Bhavnagar, where Victoria Park is situated in the forest area.
The park was established on May 24, 1888 was the day on May 24, 2015 on the establishment of 127 years to complete.
