WORLD HEALTH DAY:
Building a fairer, healthier world -The theme of World Health Day 2021. In 1948, the WHO held the First World Health Assembly. The World Health Day is a global health awareness day and celebrated every year on 7th April, under the sponsorship of the World Health Organization, as well as other related organizations. KRCSC, Bhavnagar also organised an online webinar to celebrate World Health Day on COVID 19 New Symptoms and Precautions on the evening of 7th April 2021. The webinar was mainly focused to stay away from new stream of COVID. Dr. Pranav Shah (Professor, Swami Vivekanand Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital) explained all the symptoms of new COVID stream, to get rid of virus, regular check-ups, immunity improvement Homoeopathic medicines etc. he also suggested the importance of meditation and yoga. He explained the cure to be taken after getting positive of COVID. He suggested patient to keep a pulse oximeter with him for accurate diagnosis. LIVE STREAMING OF NASA INGENUITY HELICOPTER FLIGHT ON MARS.
KRCSC, Bhavnagar has organised a live stream of landing of NASA’S perseverance rover on early morning of 19th of February 2021. A new attraction of this landing was the Ingenuity Helicopter. This would be the first flight of any known flying object on other planet. So, NASA has done a great job by flying the Ingenuity Helicopter on the land of Mars. Hence, KRCSC, Bhavnagar arranged a live stream on Facebook to watch the flight of Ingenuity Helicopter. The live index on KRCSC live Facebook channel was 385 till now and increasing.

KNOWN UNKNOWN FACTS OF ARYABHATA- FIRST SATELLITE OF INDIA
Aryabhata- A great mathematician and an ardent Astronomer of India. Aryabhata's work was of great influence in the Indian astronomical tradition and influenced several neighbouring cultures through translations. So, to honour him, the name of first satellite of India was named after him as Aryabhata in 1975. Hence to celebrate the first satellite anniversary of India, KRCSC, Bhavnagar organised an online webinar on 19th April, 2021 at 16:00 IST named “Known Unknown Facts of Aryabhata”. The expert of this live webinar was Shri J P Joshi (Former Scientist - ISRO). The welcome speech was given by Coordinator shri Harshad Joshi. He provided detailed information about the satellite Aryabhata and the scientist Aryabhata of that saga. He made society realise about the struggle of ISRO at beginning stage. The contributions of various person and scientists to make Aryabhata Satellite possible was also discussed. AMATEUR ASTRONOMY
KRCSC, Bhavnagar supported Bhavnagar Astronomy Club is very active towards exploring the interstellar and universe. This is the one place where a curious mind about astronomy can be chuffed. Hence, KRCSC, Bhavnagar has organised an online webinar named “Amateur Astronomy” on 21st April 2021 at 16:00 IST. The expert of the webinar was Shree Deepak Joshee (Vice President, Jyotirvidya Parisanstha, Pune, Maharashtra). Welcome speech was given by coordinator Shree Harshadbhai Joshi. Our expert took over the subject and deeply released a stream on Amateur Astronomy. The changes that take place in the space around us send a message that we are continuously changing. Our space makes us feel innovation at every moment. The present is the best time to know, enjoy and understand sky. The best time to see low pollution and cloudless clear sky is from April to June. Many problems are currently being caused by the Corona epidemic, with voluntary lockdowns leading to a slow improvement in the environment. Staying at home during this time is an excellent opportunity to see various events and celestial objects in the clear sky. UNESCO has designated April 23 as World Book and Copyright Day to pay tribute to the great literary figures, including William Shakespeare, Cervantes, Josep Pla and Inca Garcilaso de la Vega breathed their last on April 23, while Manuel Mejia Vallejo, Shakespeare, Haldor K Laxness and Maurice Druon were born on this day. This day is celebrated worldwide by UNESCO and other related organizations to promote the art of authors, books worldwide, reading and the love of books, publishing and copyright awareness. Hence, KRCSC, Bhavnagar has organised an online webinar named ‘INTELLACTUAL PROPERTY: IMPORTANCE AND UTILITY’ on 23rd April 2021 at 16:00 IST. The expert of the webinar was Prof. (Dr.) Kaushik C. Raval (Director, School of Law,Gujarat University Ahmedabad). Welcome speech was given by coordinator Shree Harshadbhai Joshi and Expert Introduction was given by Dr. Bhavesh Bharad (Chairman, KRCSC, Bhavnagar). Dr. Raval explain about book writing experience in different language and understanding. After book writing how anyone can get copyright on their work. He also explains introductory guide for publishers who wish to increase their understanding of how to manage intellectual property rights in a business context. Dr. Raval describe on the legal relationships inherent in these rights are considered in relation to each of the different stages of the economic value chain of book publishing, from creation to consumption. WORLD THALASSEMIA DAY
8 May is celebrated as World Thalassemia Day every year. The day commemorates the struggles of the patients suffering from this genetic disorder and raise awareness about the disease and its symptoms. On this day on 1944, World’s first Eye bank was established. Hence KRCSC, Bhavnagar organised an online webinar to aware people about this genetic disorder Thalassemia and the importance of donation of Blood, Plasma and Body parts on 8th May 2021 at 16:00 IST. Technology can be term as a spine of any nation. Without technology, a nation cannot grow its roots. 11th May is celebrated every year as National Technology Day in India. This day is celebrated as achievement and glory of Pokhran. On 11 May 1998, under the leadership of renowned aerospace engineer and President of India Abdul Kalam Saheb, India successfully tested Operation Shakti Missile at Pokhran Test Range of Indian Army in Rajasthan. To celebrate this day KRCSC, Bhavnagar organised an online webinar on subject “Vocal for Local Technology: Proud Wing of India” under the expertism of Dr. B. K. Tyagi (Scientist-F, Former Director Vigyan Prasar, DST, GoI) on 11th of May 2021 at 10:30 AM IST. The chief guests were Dr. Girish Goswami (PD RSM, Bhavnagar) and Dr. Bhavesh Bharad (Chairman, KRCSC, Bhavnagar). Our science communicator Mr. Parthrajsinh Gohil welcome all the guests and gave introduction of guests. Dr. Bhavesh Bharad gave further information regarding to expert and technology. KNOWN UNKNOWN PARAMETERS OF BLOOD: A VIEW OF MICROBIOLOGIST
Blood: a necessary parameter for a living body. Without blood, the imagination of a living organism is quite difficult. Blood is a body fluid in humans and other animals that delivers necessary substances such as nutrients and oxygen to the cells. It transports metabolic waste products away from cells. Hence, KRCSC, Bhavnagar organised an online webinar as a part of virtual summer camp 2021 organised by GUJCOST. This webinar was based on the subject of biology. The theme of the subject was “Known Unknown Parameters of Blood: A View of Microbiologist” and organised on 12th May 2021 at 10:30 IST. Our science communicator Mr. Parthrajsinh Gohil welcome the expert and gave introduction of him. The expert was Mr. Nilesh Doshi (B.Sc. Microbiology, D.M.L.T.). Medicinal Plants: A wide and must thinkable topic for our health. Hence, KRCSC, Bhavnagar organised an online webinar as a part of VIRTUAL SUMMER CAMP 2021 organised by GUJCOST. This webinar was based on the subject of biology. The theme of the subject was “Medicinal Plants at My Home” and organised on 12th May 2021 at 17:00 IST. KRCSC, Bhavnagar organised an online webinar as to understand the effect of cyclone regarding to cyclone tauktae. The webinar was held on 16th may 2021 at 11:30 AM IST. ZERO SHADOW DAY
Zero shadow day is a unique event that happens twice a year of the year. The time and date of witnessing zero shadow day differs from one place to another. It only happens when the sun reaches sharply above head on the sky. KRCSC witnessed the Zero shadow day and arranged some experiments on it by putting some objects to capture the shadow on 30th of May 2021 at 12:38 Noon and arranged a live stream in YouTube and Instagram. Due to corona effect, this program was not being arranged for society in personnel, but KRCSC organized the live stream of this program on Facebook. The day is known as zero shadow day because on this day, the shadow of any object or person become obsolete. It means that there is not any inclination or angle can be seen between the object and its shadow. The shadow stands exactly below the object hence it cannot be seen at any angle. SUMMER CAMP
Summer camp is a supervised program for children or teenagers conducted during the summer months while they are having their vacations. A personality can be shaped best if it can be shaped when the person is young, hence summer time is perfect for it. Summer time means skill & personality development with learn something new experience and increase one’s knowledge. It helps in igniting the internal skills of young minds. With this aim every year Kalyan Regional Community Science Centre, Bhavnagar organises summer camp. There were various topics in this workshop every day.
Day 1: ‘KAGAL NI KARAMAT’
In this session, the students were taught about various paper craft. The session was held online through Google Meet. The children from age 5 years and above were able to join through a registration process. The session was started at 11:00 AM on 01st of June 2021. In this session KRCSC science communicator Mr. Parthrajsinh explained how paperwork can be done using simple papers and in simple way. He demonstrated more than 10 caps and a life Jacket from a single piece of newspaper. An envelope making demonstration had also been done from A4 size paper. To make the world record possessor aeroplane using A4 size sheet was also shown to children. All the children took part eagerly and made all the paper works on their own during the session. Total viewers on Google meet were 97.
Day 2: ‘SALAMAT RAHDARI’
In this session, the students were taught about the manners on road. How one should behave with road signs and etc. stuffs. The session was started at 11:00 AM on 2nd of June 2021. KRCSC coordinator Mr. Harshad Joshi made children and people aware about the traffic signs, signals, road signs and other rules and regulations. He briefly explained the age limitations, RTO rules, different types of straps on roads, zebra crossing, reflectors were shown to children through PowerPoint presentation. At the end of the session, all the questions of children were answered satisfactorily. All the children took part eagerly and made all the paper works on their own during the session. Total viewers on Google meet were 82.
Day 3: ‘RASAYANVIGYAN NI RANGBHARI DUNIYA’
In this session, the students were taught about the basics of chemistry. students learn about this chemical and identify their uses in their life. The session was started at 11:00 AM on 3rd of June 2021. Hence to spread awareness about the magic of chemicals this session was organised. In this programme our expert explained about various chemicals and it’s uses in lab as well as in daily life to the students. The expert also explained scientific names and regular names of those chemicals. All the children took part eagerly and made all the paper works on their own during the session. Total viewers on Google meet were 85.
Day 4: ‘MARI AAS PASS NU PHYSICS’
In this session, the students were taught about the basic fundamentals of physics. Students learn about the uses of physics rules at domestic level and identify their uses in their life. The session was started at 11:00 AM on 4th of June 2021. In this programme our expert explained about various physics experiments and applications. The expert had done various balloon experiments, fire on candle experiments, finding centre of gravity experiments etc. All the children took part eagerly and made all the paper works on their own during the session. Total viewers on Google meet were 76 Students.
Day 5: ‘KAUSHALYA VIKAS’
In this session, the students were taught about the basic tips about Skill Development. Students learn about day-to-day life works tricky solution in daily life and identify their uses in their life. The session was started at 11:00 AM on 5th of June 2021. In this programme our expert Ms. Devyani Joshi (Science Communicator, KRCSC, BVN.) explained about various Skill Development techniques. How to learn basic things Which is very useful in our Day-to-day life. In this Session Expert had done How to set a bulb in holder with safety precaution, tie a wire in fuse, how to tear plastic food packets like wafer and milk pouch because the increasing of plastic in the world, explanation of electricity bill etc. All the children took part eagerly and made all the paper works on their own during the session. WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY CELEBRATION
We and all other living creature are having breath because of our surrounding environment and nature. One should always be thankful to nature. To spread awareness about nature and environment, KRCSC, Bhavnagar organised a 10 days competition on Drawing, Quiz and Short video making from 5th June to 15th of June 2021. The drawing competition was held in collaboration with Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB). The subject of whole competition was “Ecosystem Restoration”. There were 20 questions set on krcsc website for the participants to solve on nature. In short video competition the participants have to record 2 minutes of video on the subject and upload it to krcsc website.

THE OCEAN: LIFE AND LIVELIHOOD
The Earth contains 71% of water on it. It means most of the part of earth is covered with water. The life inside the ocean is also very vast and beautiful. Even Scientist and Scooba divers are still discovering the life in deep ocean. To release the facts of ocean on World Ocean Day, KRCSC, Bhavnagar organised an online webinar on 8th June 2021 at 12:30 PM IST. The expert of the webinar was Dr. I.R. Gadhvi (H.O.D., Marine Science Department, Maharaja Krushnkumarsinhji Bhavnagar University). KRCSC coordinator Mr. Harshad Joshi gave welcome speech. The guest of honour was Dr. Girish Goswami who welcomed the expert. The expert took over the subject and gave very important and deep information about ocean. He explained how the ocean day was established by United Nations, Ocean based livelihoods, the economy sector behind ocean known as blue economy, the ports on local sea, Indian fisheries, livelihood from fisheries sector, fish processing industries, marine tourism, renewable energy sources, ship recycling and the future threats on ocean. SOLAR ECLIPSE LIVE STREAM
Kalyan Regional Community Science Centre, Bhavnagar has a broad vision regarding to universe and Interstellar space, objects etc. With aim to spread awareness from rumours related to solar eclipse and get everyone benefited by making them watch solar eclipse, KRCSC organized an online platform on 10-05-2021 from 01:42 pm as this eclipse was not visible in India. KRCSC made a live platform with YouTube, Facebook and Instagram for watching solar eclipse live. This was an annular solar eclipse. INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY
As we know that the importance of 21st June is that it is summer solstice in Northern hemisphere. This phenomenon is known as the longest day of the year in compare to night. The day is also celebrated as international yoga day. Hence to celebrate this day, KRCSC, Bhavnagar organised an online and offline yoga programme under the expertism of Mr. Vinod Malani. This program was a limited entry program for 20 people. The theme of the program is “Yoga at Home and Yoga for Family”. The inauguration of this program was initiated with the inspirational speech of Bhavnagar Yuvraj Shree Jaiveerrajsinhji Gohil. In the beginning the expert told the importance of yoga as per Vedas and ancient saints. Then the prayer and spiritual power of Shree Gayatri mantra and Omkar was told. Then the basic yoga were performed along with the audience in an open air environment at KRCSC, Bhavnagar. the expert also told the importance of pranayama and exercise. At the end various people gave their feedbacks and showed their wish to attend this type of programs arranged by KRCSC, Bhavnagar. Total 34 people were connected online with Google Meet. NCSC TEACHER ORIENTATION WORKSHOP
National Children’s Science Congress (NCSC) is providing the best scientific innovation platform for bright students Since last 28 years. National Children Science Congress project is being worked in India under Department of science and technology Govt. of India. Gujarat Council on Science and Technology handles this project in Gujarat. Focal theme and Sub theme are being changed every two year. The theme for year 2021-22 is “Science for Sustainable living”. The teacher orientation workshop for NCSC 2021-22 was held by KRCSC, Bhavnagar on 01st of July 2021 at 09:00 AM on Google Meet and YouTube. The inauguration ceremony was held online and performed by various guests.

Dr. Bhavesh Bharad (Chairman KRCSC, Bhavnagar) welcomed all the chief guests, evaluators and teachers. Mr. Harshad Joshi held the host position and coordinated the workshop.

ZERO SHADOW DAY
Zero shadow day is a unique event that happens twice a year of the year. The time and date of witnessing zero shadow day differs from one place to another. It only happens when the sun reaches sharply above head on the sky. KRCSC again witnessed the second Zero shadow day of Bhavnagar and arranged an online webinar to give explanation of zero shadow event and some experiments on it by putting some objects to capture the shadow on 13th July 2021 at 12:47 Noon and arranged a live stream in YouTube. Due to corona effect, this program was not being arranged for society in personnel, but KRCSC organized the live stream of this program and also webinar about why zero shadow happens? on YouTube. Harshad Joshi explained that the day is known as zero shadow day because on this day, the shadow of any object or person become obsolete. It means that there is not any inclination or angle can be seen between the object and its shadow. The shadow stands exactly below the object hence it cannot be seen at any angle. KRCSC has also passed a message “stay home, stay safe”. MEETING WITH CRC BRC OF BHVANAGAR DISTRICT FOR NCSC 2021 REGISTRATION
NCSC- National Children Science Congress is a platform where students can release their innovative knowledge. It is very helpful for the mental growth of children. To encourage children towards NCSC, Kalyan Regional community Science Centre, Bhavnagar organised an online meeting on 13th July 2021 at 16:00 IST with the BRC and CRC. After the inauguration, Shree Kishorbhai Miyani (DPEO Bhavnagar) gave a motivation speech to encourage the children. The other experts and dignitaries were Shree Jatin Pandya (SO SP GUJCOST, NCSC State Coordinator, Shree Bhaveshbhai Vyas (Academic coordinator NCSC Bhavnagar Dist. Shree Harshad Joshi (Coordinator KRCSC, Bhavnagar) remained present. The online meeting was held live on YouTube and Google Meet. Excited teachers also took part in this online meeting. The Live index of Viewers on Google Meet was 62 and 20 in YouTube live.

TIGER DAY CELEBRATION:
Global Tiger Day, often called International Tiger Day, is an annual celebration to raise awareness for tiger conservation, held annually on 29 July. Tiger is an umbrella animal in Forest. Hence to celebrate this Tiger Day, KRCSC, Bhavnagar organised a scientific movie show for children of standard 05 to 12 on 4 to 6 pm. In this the children were registered through an online process to visit KRCSC to watch movie show on tiger. This movie show encouraged children to save tiger and not to harm other animals. Total 20 students among with 4 parents were benefited.

NATIONAL MOUNTAIN CLIMBING DAY
KRCSC, Bhavnagar celebrated national mountain climbing day and nature conservation day by organizing Palitana Shetrunjaya hill and Kadamgiri hill trekking camp on 01st august 2021. This camp was opened for community. There were 150 registrations noted by KRCSC and first 120 people were allowed to attend this camp. The experts of this camp were Mr. Harshad Ravaliya, Mr. Malay Barot, Mr. Yashpal Vyas. They lead the groups and gave information about tracking. The easy ways of tracking, the things need to climb a hill, the things to be kept with himself while trekking etc. In this camp participants got knowledge about hill side trees, plants, animals, moths, insects etc.

LION DAY CELEBRATION AT VICTORIA PARK, BHAVNAGAR
A Royal animal cum beast, Lion. To celebrate the day of king of Forest, KRCSC, Bhavnagar collaborate with Forest Department and celebrate jointly arranged awareness programme. KRCSC, Bhavnagar went to Victoria Park along with club members of KRCSC, Bhavnagar. The Dr. K. Ramesh Kumar (C.C.F., Gujrat), Dr. Sandip Kumar (I.F.S., D.C.F. Bhavnagar), Dr. Bharatsinh Gohil ((H.O.D. Department of Life Sciences, M.K. Bhavnagar Uni.), I.R. Gadhvi (H.O.D. Marine Science Department, M.K. Bhavnagar Uni.) , Mr. Pravin Dodiya (H.O.D. Zoology, Sir P. P. Institute of Science, M.K. Bhavnagar Uni.) ACF, DCF and other guests were present to spread awareness about lions. They make people understand the importance of lion. The theme of that program was “અવકાશી સિદ્ધિઓના સ્વપ્નદ્રષ્ટા ડો. વિક્રમ સારાભાઇ”. The drawing competition had been started from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM. There were 4 age groups of people in Drawing Competition. The Fancy Dress Competition and Patriotic Song Dance Competition had started from 4:30 pm. The children came having wear different outlooks. The experts for the day were Mr. Rameshbhai Gohil (Well Known Artist) Ajaybhai Chauhan (Well Known Artist) Dr. Ashokbhai Patel (Well Known Artist). Around 39 people took part in this competition.

Commerce High School), Rameshbhai Gohil (Well Known Artist), Anjali Mehta (Well Known Artist), Shaileshbhai Dabhi (Well Known Artist). The drawing competition had been started from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM. There were 4 age groups of people in Drawing Competition. The Fancy Dress Competition and Patriotic Song Dance Competition had started from 4:30 pm. The children came having wear different outlooks. The children were very excited to took part and win exciting prizes. At last, the winners of all the 3 days competitions were announced. The winners got momento and cash prizes. Around 60 people took part in this competition.

CHART EXHIBITION TO CELEBRATE THE BIRTH ANNIVERSARY OF DR. VIKRAM SARABHAI
To celebrate the birth anniversary of Dr. Vikram Sarabhai and spread awareness on the founder of ISRO, KRCSC, Bhavnagar organised a 3 days chart exhibition from 12th AUGUST to 14th AUGUST 2021 at Vigyan Bhavan, Bhavnagar from 11:00 AM to 01:00 PM. The charts were on the successful story of ISRO and the life of Vikram Sarabhai. The achievements of ISRO and DRDO were also shown. Total 37 people took a glance at this chart exhibition.

SCIENCE CITY TOUR
The most recent success of Gujarat Government is at science and technology theme. The two new galleries 1) Robotics Gallery and 2) Aquatic Gallery have been opened at Gujarat Science City, Ahmedabad. Hence KRCSC, Bhavnagar has arranged a visit of Gujarat Science City for the people who have keen interest in science and technology on 15th August 2021. The tour has started from the morning. The flag hoisting program was done there at 10 AM. After this, the people were taken to amphitheatre. A drawing Competition, Slogan making and oath taking program on patriotic theme was organised there by Mr. Pulkesh Prajapati, Gujarat Science City, Ahmedabad. Snacks arrangement was also done by Gujarat Science City, Ahmedabad. After that Robotics gallery visit was begin. The guides took the people to various sections of robotics gallery and make them deeply understand the concepts of robotics. After lunch, A movie Show in IMAX 3D was arranged for the people from Bhavnagar by Gujarat Science City, Ahmedabad. People really enjoyed and learnt something new about technology. After movie show, the visit of Nature Park was done. Various types of plants were situated there. After that, an appreciation program for CRC’S and BRC’S were organized in auditorium 1 from 04:00 PM to 05:00 PM. The chief guests Mr. Navin Sheth (Vice Chancellor, GTU), Mr. Nilesh Raval (MSB, Chairman), Mr. J P Joshi (Former Scientist, ISRO), Mr. Pulkesh Prajapati (Gujarat Science City, Ahmedabad), Dr. Bhavesh Bharad (Chairman, KRCSC, Bhavnagar), Mr. Bhaveshbhai Vyas (NCSC District Academic Coordinator) remained present for the ceremony. The program was held to appreciate the CRC’S and BRC’S who tried hard to perform the highest project registration for NCSC-2021. After that, people were taken to visit the Aquatic Gallery in which the fishes and many of ocean livings are put. At the end people visited the hole of fame and enjoyed the Gujarat Science City, Ahmedabad. Total 165 people were benefited by this visit.

ECO-FRIENDLY GANESH MAKING WORKSHOP
It is that time of the year that heralds the beginning of festivities and first in the list is the celebration dedicated to Lord Ganesh. Children enjoy the gaiety and interesting traditions that are a part of the festival and look forward to the delicious sweets and savouries that are made during Ganesh pooja at home. One of the main traditions followed in many Indian households is to bring a beautiful Ganesha idol home during this festival. It has become a norm to buy shiny and colourful Ganesh idols from the market, which use Plaster of Paris (PoP) and are painted with bright chemical and synthetic dyes. PoP is non-biodegradable and contains gypsum with other heavy metals like arsenic, lead and mercury. When these idols are immersed in the water bodies, they decrease the oxygen content, killing the fish and other creatures. The lead in the paint used is also harmful for both humans and animals. Protect from these all negative on environment and all of us Kalyan Regional Community Science Centre, Bhavnagar organized an Eco friendly Ganesha making workshop at Kala Kendra, Bhavnagar. This program was organised specially for women and children. In this workshop Our expert Mr. Jay Barad taught how we can made Ganesha by red soil and Geru powder. In this workshop all age groups participants were allowed. They all actively participated and made their beautiful Ganesha by red soil and Geru powder. The expert also taught us how we can make a larger statue of less weight by using newspapers. There were 46 people benefited by this programme.

This program was organised specially for women and children. In this workshop Our expert Mr. Jay Barad taught how we can made Ganesha by red soil and Geru powder. In this workshop all age groups participants were allowed. They all actively participated and made their beautiful Ganesha by red soil and Geru powder. The expert also taught us how we can make a larger statue of less weight by using newspapers. There were 32 people benefited by this programme.

PRE-STATE LEVEL RURAL I.T. QUIZ:
The use of information and technology is on the rise. Compared to urban students, rural students are more unfamiliar with IT, so every year a joint venture of Tata Consultancy Services and Science Department, Government of Karnataka, organize National Rural I .T. Quiz-2021 is at district, state and national level. State level coordination is done by GUJCOST, DST, GOG, District level National Rural IT by Bhavnagar District GUJCOST Recognized Kalyan Regional Community Science Centre, Bhavnagar. For the past two years, the National Rural I.T. The quiz is organized online by Gujarat Council on Science and Technology, Gandhinagar. In the year 2021, after the selection of students at school level, 600 students from Bhavnagar district participated for the Pre state level. Out of which 40 students got selection for the state level. As the competition is for rural students only and in English language, it is worth mentioning here that students from many remote rural areas of Bhavnagar city will represent Bhavnagar district at the state level by making their outstanding skills, school teachers and school principals and parents successful.

Total 50 students were benefited by this workshop.

LEARN WITH FUN @ VIDHYAMANJARI GYANPITH, SHIHOR, BHAVNAGAR 120 STU.
Science is a wonderful thing if one does not have to earn one's living at it. One should earn one's living by work of which one is sure one is capable. Only when we do not have to be accountable to anybody can we find joy in scientific endeavour. The first steps should be to teach boys and girls the habit of observation so its educative influence on the mind of students. This can be done using easy and natural study of science using different material objects that they can always seeing. Learning is the process of acquiring new or modifying existing knowledge, behaviours, skills, values, or preferences. But some principles and scientific words cannot be understand by students, so uses of some games, tricky sums and interesting task is used to clear a topic in easy way, Kalyan Regional Community Science Centre, Bhavnagar held a program of learn with Fun at Vidhyamanjari Gyanpith, Shihor on 11th September 2021. In this programme our expert explained about various kinds of practices and rules used in those practices. She played interesting game with meaningful task and teach basic science and maths with easy way for students. This program was mainly based on physics and mathematics. There were more than 120 students benefited by this programme.

SCIENCE BEHIND SUPERSTITION @ GYANGANGA VIDHYAPITH, SHIHOR
Although there is no single definition of superstition, it generally means a belief in supernatural forces – such as fate – the desire to influence unpredictable factors and a need to resolve uncertainty. In this way then, individual beliefs and experiences drive superstitions, which explains why they are generally irrational and often defy current scientific wisdom. They have been there from times immemorial. They have their roots in ignorance, blind faith, fear of the unknown, lack of scientific spirit and complexes. They reflect the weak side of mankind. Superstitions are found everywhere. They have a stronghold on man in spite of rapid advancement of modern science, technology and knowledge. They have been there from times immemorial. Kalyan Regional Community Science Centre, Bhavnagar organized Superstition Awareness program at Gyanganga Vidhyapith, Shihor. In this Program our Expert explained about what is superstition, by different phenomena which are carrying out by our ancient time and explained scientific reasons with practical demonstration & also told the scientific reasons behind our rituals. And also discussed a scientific reason behind old rules of our culture. More than 90 students were benefited by this programme.

FIRE SAFETY: @ RAJHANS HIGH SCHOOL, UNDAVI, BVN.
Fire safety measures include those that are intended to prevent ignition of an uncontrolled fire, and those that are used to limit the development and effects of a fire after it starts. We are living in the wireless communication era but still we used some wires, many types of injurious gases and explosion in our daily life. We have fire exhaustion in our home as well as our working place. But when any fire accident occurs, we didn’t know the use of fire exhaustion. To create awareness about fire exhaustion Kalyan Regional Community Science Centre, Bhavnagar organised Fire Safety Awareness Programme at Rajhans High School, Undavi, Bhavnagar. In this programme our science communicator explained about types of fire. Types of fire tank, the precautions during fire accidents. More than 170 students were benefited by this programme.

CELEBRATION ON FIRST AID DAY BY FIRST AID AWARENESS PROGRAMME
In recent decades, everyone wants to be a part of race to become millionaire. Due to this race a person forgets to care about his life. However, someone met with an accident or any calamity. During this calamity or accidents if the person knows how to treat an injured person, then it may help him/her to save their life. With this motive Kalyan Regional Community Science Centre, Bhavnagar organised a program named First Aid awareness program at Rajhans High School, Undavi. In this program our expert Mr. Yashpal Vyas explained about various doctor knot, how to Bandage, how to make Stretcher during emergency, Use of basic medicine etc. More than 170 students were benefited by this program.

OZONE DAY CELEBRATION BY QUIZ COMPETITION AND SLOGAN COMPETITION
World Ozone Day 2021 was celebrated by KRCSC, Bhavnagar. The aim of this program was to spread awareness about the depletion of ozone layer. An online quiz and slogan making competition was held. The participants have to submit their slogans through KRCSC official website and they can play quiz also. The result of this program is in the stage of pending.

Gujarat Council on Science and Technology handle this project in Gujarat. As parts of this Project Cluster level National Children Science Congress-2021 project submission was done by an online process through KRCSC, Bhavnagar official website. A proud taking achievement for KRCSC, Bhavnagar that 1734 registration were done by KRCSC, Bhavnagar. Total 350 projects were submitted. Our NCSC evaluators analysed all the projects in 4 days and selected 45 projects which will be presented by relevant schools at district level. The district level NCSC will be held at 9th October, 2021.

OZONE DAY CELEBRATION BY ESSAY COMPETITION.
World Ozone Day 2021 was celebrated by KRCSC, Bhavnagar in collaboration with Gujarat Pollution Control Board, Bhavnagar. The aim of this program was to spread awareness about the depletion of ozone layer. An essay competition on subject ‘Elimination of Single Use Plastic’ was held at Dhanesh J Mehta High School on 21st September, 2021. The students revealed their ideas and suggestions through essay. They wrote a topic related plastic pollution and how to we reduce a single use of plastic. Total 34 students participated in this program. Every Students were awarded by a kit which made by a pen, point pencil, lead box, eraser and scale with supplementary.
