R. U. Rambhiya English School, Songadh, Dist. Bhavnagar team become National Champion in National Rural IT Quiz Competition Held at Bengaluru. Many Many Congratulation to Them and Guide Teacher also. They are Selected at District Level Competation Organised by Kalyan Regional Community Science Center, Bhavnagar.

Gujarat students become National Champion at the National Rural IT Quiz 2014 competition at Bangalore from Bhavnagar.
Two students who represented Gujarat at the National Rural IT Quiz won the First Prize with Rs.1,00,000.00 as cash prize along with Mobile sets and IT gadgets at final Chhattisgarh team adjourned as runners-up.
The future belongs to Information Technology (IT) and to those who make friends with IT enable environment. In order to inculcate the scientific temperament and IT awareness, the Gujarat Council on Science & Technology (GUJCOST), working under the aegis of the Department of Science & Technology, Government of Gujarat organized a unique Rural IT Quiz programme in the State and brought laurel for the State at the National Final.
Gujarat students are no more at back in the emerging field of science and technology. Two students, Yash and Kartik, both of Std. X in R. U. Rambhia English Medium School, Songarh in Bhavnagar district become the National Champion by winning First Prize at the National Rural IT Quiz 2014 concluded on Tuesday afternoon at Bangalore.
The two Gujarat students becomes the star attraction at the prestigious IT event at Bangalore and got Rs.1,00,000.00 cash award. Trophy, Mobile sets and other gadgets for their creative and meritorious excellence.
Mr Syed Kirmani former Indian Test Cricketer who was the chief guest on the occasion, Mr Nagaraj Ijari, VP & Head TCS Bangalore Operations and Tanusree Deb Burma – Director, IT, BT, Science & Technology, Govt. of Karnataka awarded prizes and certificates to the meritorious students.
The National Rural IT Quiz, an initiative and encouraging step for the students of rural areas, to increase the awareness about Information Technology and the possibilities in the field.
The program combined excitement, cooperative learning, and other participatory activities that help the children of rural areas stay ahead of the game and be prepared for their next steps into the university and the workforce.
The National Rural IT Quiz is a programme is conceptualized and organized by the Dept of IT, BT and Science and Technology, Government of Karnataka in association with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS).
